Shareholders
Snam Rete Gas S.p.A. share capital amounted to euro 3,570,768,494.00 represented by 3,570,768,494 ordinary shares with a nominal value of 1 euro each. Each shareholder may singly or jointly present only one list and vote for only one list, in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the legislative and regulatory provisions.Shareholders who alone or jointly with other shareholders hold at least 2% of shares with the right to vote in the ordinary meeting, or a different percentage fixed or referred to by legislative or regulatory provisions, are entitled to present lists for the appointment of directors and auditors (articles 16 and 22 of the by-laws). CONSOB Resolution no. 16319 of 29 January 2008 has set as 1% the percentage required for the presentation of lists of candidates for election to the Administration and Control Bodies of Snam Rete Gas.
Snam Rete Gas is listed in the FTSE/MIB index of Borsa Italiana.
Treasury Stock on April 26, 2010 (net of shares used to implement stock assignation plans) amount to 194,603,475 or 5.45% of Snam Rete Gas share capital. The floating share capital is 42.20%.
