Personnel health and safety

Snam Rete Gas is fully committed to promoting the health and safety of its workers and has accordingly developed a Workers' Health and Safety Management System under the BS 8800 international guidelines and those of Eni.

Suppliers

Snam Rete Gas in procuring works, goods and services needed for its business turns to a large number of appropriately qualified companies in the market. The procurement process for works, goods and services and supplier management is governed by criteria of confidentiality, traceability, economy and transparency. The processes follow a system of guidelines and procedures which are constantly being updated and monitored to ensure that there is no discrimination among suppliers, that there is clarity in relationships using qualification methods which are declared and transparent where bids are evaluated with objectivity following standard methodology.

The "Become a supplier" section describes the steps a prospective supplier of works, goods or services must take in order to access the qualification process, the phases this process consists of and the main conditions for maintaining qualified status once the supplier has been added to the Company’s Approved Supplier List.
